Sports bras which don’t go over the head

Any recommendations?
Budget is basically as cheap as possible and can only buy online as no shops selling them locally.
I have a zip up the front one which is less use than a normal bra 🙄

I've just bought one from Syrokan on Amazon - £15+ (I have big boobs and bought a high impact one). Haven't used it yet, but tried it on and feel comfortable and met the bounce test.

Shock absorber multi active sports bra is the one I wear. I’ve got loads. There are two hooks you put on like a normal bra and then slip the straps up over your shoulders.

I use boobydoo website and keep checking for my size on offer.

ExpressDelivery · 13/08/2021 10:53

I've tried lots over 20 odd years of running and I'm afraid to say the Shock Absorbers Ulitmate Run bra is the one.

I really can't manage the ones that go over the head and even many that have a fastener don't open fully.

I've tried cheaper ones but they always rub.

It's not at all cheap but if you're not fussy about colour you can usually pick one up for £25ish online.

H&M ones are good. The high impact ones have a back clasp.

onemouseplace · 13/08/2021 10:57

Shock Absorber Multi Active as well - I have to go up a size though as they run small. I keep an eye out for offers - I've picked a couple up on Wiggle cheaper before.

OrlandointheWilderness · 13/08/2021 10:59

I have the shock absorber infinity power one. It's awful to look at but bloody hell it does it's job - nothing moves a millimetre! I've run a lot of miles in it too. Zips up the front.

Speckledy · 13/08/2021 11:06

I usually wear Shock Absorber but bought a Sainsbury's high impact one recently as I needed something cheap and quick. It goes on like a normal bra and and is sturdy enough for running even with my generous G cup frontage...tuclothing.sainsburys.co.uk/p/Active-DD%2B-White-High-Impact-Flexiwire-Sports-Bra/136217372-White

I have Berlei ones I got on eBay - underwire and sit just like a real bra. They’re the most comfortable I’ve tried and really supportive.

they do smaller sizes too. These are really good and fasten like a normal bra

TheDrsDocMartens · 13/08/2021 11:12

If anyone is 30/32 inch chest there’s so bargains to be had. Struggling with larger sizes!

Decathlon have solid zip up front sports bras, I’m DD and it holds me in place

Persipan · 13/08/2021 11:16

Enell are good. Hooks and eyes up the front, good for larger bust sizes. Not cheap, though.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 13/08/2021 11:17

I (32G) like the underworld panache one. I used to the shock absorber but it just gives me a monoboob and more movement than the panache. They aren’t that cheap though.

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 13/08/2021 11:18

*underwired

BalladOfBarryAndFreda · 13/08/2021 11:19

Boobydoo website has a large selection of different brands. I like panache ultimate underwired for my 36GGs

HermioneWeasley · 13/08/2021 18:45

Syrokan on Amazon - do big sizes and are properly supportive

Muchmorethan · 13/08/2021 18:49
