Really struggling with this!!

Got the App so I can transfer money to my Son's card every month whilst he's in the USA.

So do I send in GB sterling and whdm he gets it it just automatically changes???

The card will be in one currency, probably GBP. When he uses it in the US, revolut will apply an exchange rate and reduce the balance. There may be fees, but I think Revolut is one of the good value ones. They will make a little from the difference in exchange rates but not rip you off as much as most credit cards.

If he has the option to pay directly in Gbp (as the merchant will know it's a UK card and may offer) he should refuse and pay in dollars as the rate and fees will be much more if he pays in GBP.
