And if so when and how did you get your covid questionnaire? We're meant to be going tomorrow, but nothing so far. I think it's meant to be in the app but I can't find it anywhere!

DH took DDs yesterday afternoon. He did the questionnaire at lunch before he left.

Seeline · 13/08/2021 08:30

Do you know where he found it? Does it just appear in the app somewhere?

It's only available when you have a ticket, so whoever bought the tickets needs to share them with others going.

Seeline · 13/08/2021 08:36

Yes I have the tickets. I bought them having had last year's cancelled. The chaos of re-booking this year has not given me much confidence in the organisation of the system, hence I am getting anxious at the lack of the covid questionnaire. Unless this is filled in, I don't get the QR code for the tickets so they cannot be used.

Just had a quick look at my (used) tickets on the app - the Covid self-cert was a box to click that showed on the ticket when you open it. It's literally 3 x yes/no questions, it will only take you seconds to complete.

SouthOfFrance · 13/08/2021 08:44

It appears on the app, go into your ticket and there should be a box to click. It only takes a minute or so. I'm sure they will help you when you get to the venue if you can't find it.

SillyBub · 13/08/2021 08:47

I've been to two games in the last week and can confirm that you need to click on each of the tickets in the app to access and complete the Covid questionnaire.

ShuddaBeenMe · 13/08/2021 08:52

Yes was a brilliant day. Have a great time. Form is where the pp said.

Seeline · 13/08/2021 09:22

Ah - thank you. Nothing has appeared yet so I shall keep checking. Really looking forward to it. I've been to loads of tests matches but this is the first time my teens have wanted to come too. Fingers crossed the weather holds!

I enjoy test cricket too, and took my slightly sceptical DD15 along to The Hundred as her first cricket experience - and by the end, she was up for coming along to a test next time.Smile It's 'party' cricket, nothing like a test match at all, but a great evening out. Enjoy!
HelloDulling · 13/08/2021 10:03

Did it on the app, takes 2 mins.

DH and DS go to a lot of cricket, and have been to all the local Hundred matches but last weekend I went instead of DH. We’ve got tickets for one more next week; I’d like to go again, but DH won’t hear of it. It’s fun!

Seeline · 13/08/2021 10:13

I've seen a lot of the matches on TV and know it's far from Test cricket 😆 But if it gets new people interested I think it's a good thing.

MsIreneWinters · 13/08/2021 10:38

@Seeline we are going tomorrow too and I can't see the box either. I'm hoping it will appear soon!

Seeline · 13/08/2021 10:43

Glad it's not just me! You going to the Oval? I haven't been for while so really looking forward to it.

OP posts:
MsIreneWinters · 13/08/2021 11:01

Yes the Oval as well. It should be good!

CalmConfident · 13/08/2021 11:08

Yes, went to Lords - it was really fun 😃

newnortherner111 · 13/08/2021 12:09

No I choose to watch cricket, not some joke fast food style imitation.

I love all forms of cricket. Was at the Ageas Bowl for The Hundred on Wednesday night and at Lord's for the test yesterday. ♥️🏏

T20 and the Hundred are the gateway drugs to test cricket Smile

Love this 😁

I think all forms have their place. I think we will see more specialism amongst the players - I'm not sure the very short forms do much to improve test players. There should be ample opportunities for players to play red ball cricket to gain vital experience.

My DDs just loved going to watch WOMENS cricket.

Seeline · 13/08/2021 13:50

Yes it is lovely to see women's cricket on the TV too.

OP posts:
newnortherner111 · 13/08/2021 15:31

I saw a women's 50 over match in June, and was very impressed by the standard of fielding, better than any men's team I've ever seen.

SouthOfFrance · 13/08/2021 15:44

I love seeing the women's cricket too, I think The Hundred has done that really well.

MsIreneWinters · 13/08/2021 15:46

@Seeline my covid questionnaires have just appeared so hopefully your ones have too!
