Tonic water shortage (send help!)

Good people of mumsnet, a great disaster has befallen me this evening... and I need your advice!
Upon curating my Tesco online order for delivery due tomorrow, it seems that there is no tonic water left in the whole world! I am just about coping with the lack of sparkling water, but the lack of tonic water!!! It is not to be borne...
WHAT THE HELL AM I GOING TO MIX MY GIN WITH??
One simply cannot mix gin with coke shudder
Or soda water (which upon further investigation also seems to be in very short supply!).
I've toyed with the idea of squash but reason leads me to believe this will be utterly disgusting.
HELP!

I have tonics but am on my hols in my caravan.

I like gin with the lemon pellegrino, give it a try.

Without intending to spark a panic buy of the remaining stocks in the UK, there’s definitely a shortage. And I don’t think there’s a decent substitute 😱

I’d try home made lemonade, but maybe cut it a bit with some soda water so it is less sweet, or make it with less sugar!

I think I have some angostura bitters lurking somewhere in a cupboard, but what would you mix it with?? Soda water??!

I went to the local Big Man shop for tonic this eve. Got 4 bottles just in case. Sorry for rubbing salt into the wound.

Local Lidl had quantities of sparkling and still water. Dunno about tonic though.

Ok so I've now panic added ginger beer, san pellegrino, and some lemonade to my order...
