Disposable Nappies recommendation for a washable nappy user?

I'm going to France with my dd in a few days and have decided not to take her usual washable nappies as we can't fit them in my luggage and there's not suitable laundry facilities where we are going (staying with elderly family). She will have to wear disposables and I'll need to buy some when we are out there.

Can anyone recommend the best disposable nappies brand (that they'd likely sell in Europe?) please? I've never used them so haven't got a clue. Also, do you need special ones for night time or do normal nappies keep them dry for 11 hours?

If they have a Lidl over there, theirs are pretty good. Normal ones should keep them dry over night but I’d advise sizing up if your DC is close to the top of the weight range on them

Just pick up whatever is on the shelf in the correct size. They're all very similar imo. If you're worried you could take a couple of night nappies and have her in disposable during the day.

I'll agree with the poster who said just get whatever is in their size. I've found nappies are trial and error and different ones suit different babies so there is no "best". I find tesco own brand good as well and fairly inexpensive. Aldi and Lidl are also good. Bizarrely my DC3 gets on best with pampers when they didn't suit my other DC.
