Flea Hell

Anyone else got fleas in their house right now?
The shelves in the flea section of Pets at home have been stripped bare so I'm guessing I'm not alone.
I'm so tired of hoovering continuously, spraying and washing everything. Tell me it will end! Please!

I've indorex -ed twice already this year.
I called the vet but was fobbed off by reception, apparently all three of my cats just decided to scratch for fun.
I think the prescription flea stuff is ineffective again.

Kerberos · 12/08/2021 13:46

Indorex worked for us. You can usually get it via Amazon.

Willowthewispp · 12/08/2021 13:50

Your not alone.... I've been bitten to hell..

Thewindsofchange · 12/08/2021 13:51

We found the spray stuff useless. Spoke to a council exterminator guy who advised us to use the spot treatment on the cat. Fleas would then bite the cat and be killed. Worked (sorry dcat).

MrsPelligrinoPetrichor · 12/08/2021 13:53

Indorex and do it again in two weeks.

Bavecto spot on, apply every 12 weeks ,game changer.

dementedpixie · 12/08/2021 13:58

You need a vet strength flea treatment for the cat and indorex for the house

TheFleaHater · 12/08/2021 14:09

My indorex has just arrived, it's taken ages, it's clearly in high demand. I've used flea bombs and other sprays so far. The dogs are flea treated every 4 weeks. It's been horrendous. Saw a local farmer the other day, she said none of her fly treatment for the cows have worked this year either. Our warm and wet conditions have been perfect for critters.
Indorex war is now declared. Already got the next two tins on order.

What are you treating the dogs with?

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 12/08/2021 14:20

Yup! I went to see the vet nurse aboit my cats as I just cant seem to get on top of it. Got some prescribed stuff thats not really worked. The nurse said its particularly bad this year.

TheFleaHater · 12/08/2021 16:20

The dogs had advantage on 26th July...I've got a new one from Itch ready to go on next but can't treat them again for a while yet.
