Primary Ed at Edge Hill

DS is heading up north to study primary education at Edge Hill, Ormskirk. Beautiful campus, good connections but does anyone have any real life experience and tips to share about the course and life there?

I grew up in Ormskirk. It's a really nice little town, and Liverpool is close if he wants a bit more culture/nightlife.
