Chessington or Thorpe Park?

Thinking of going later this week or at the weekend but haven’t been to either for years. Has anyone been lately and can recommend which might be better for a 10 year old and 14 year old?
Are the queues for rides so ridiculously long that I’ll regret thinking it was a good idea?!

Rides today between 45mins and 2 hours at Chessington. Main rides between 100 and 120mins this afternoon...

Thorpe Park for that age if they like thrill rides; Chessington if they don't do rollercoasters and like seeing animals.

We just came back from Thorpe park. But definitely Thorpe park for those ages. Rides were ridiculously long but we got fast track which was very much worth it.

The rides are bigger (and more terrifying!) at Thorpe park. Chessington is more tame.

Compare the height of the 10 year old to the requirements of the rides at Thorpe or you could have sibling disputes!

Brilliant, thanks all.
I think Dd14 would prefer Thorpe Park but DS10 and I are both wimps so might go for Chessington this time and see how we get on!
Good point re height of DS, he’s quite tall for his age, will check requirements.

Thorpe park for scarier rides. Chessington for little kids.
