That's a bargain and a really nice plant holder!

It must be cursed...sorry, OP.

babbi · 11/08/2021 18:07

That’s really pretty and original..
I like it

EscapeTheCastle · 11/08/2021 18:08

Congrats on your find. Looks lovely.

I haven't had any good charity shop finds for a while now.

KarlMaldensNose · 11/08/2021 18:10

It looks hand painted OP
It’s really pretty and timeless what a lovely find

Aquamarine1029 · 11/08/2021 18:14

Ooh, that's lovely! What a lucky find.

Raaaaaaarr · 11/08/2021 18:15

I love your lamp. Where is that from please?

Cornettoninja · 11/08/2021 18:15

Lovely, well done Smile

I do love a good bargain and since charity shops got all savvy with their clothes and collectibles the best finds tend to be house stuff and books. I’m a bit partial to the odd wall mirror which is an unexpected phase Grin

Oh it's lovely! I love a real charity shop gem. About 10 years ago I bought a pink le creuset fondue set for £6 from a charity shop, but for some bonkers reason I re-donated it. I regretted it and tried to find another on eBay but they were ridiculously expensive. Then last year I found another one in the same colour for £4!! Definitely not the same one as this one was brand new and still in all the packaging. Holding on to this one!

Hi Raaaaaa

Lamp was a wedding gift (10 years ago) but it's Irish Belleek Pottery I think

I never find any decent house stuff in charity shops in our town. Might have to venture further afield. That’s lovely and a great bargain.

Amdone123 · 11/08/2021 18:29

I found 4 heart shaped ramekins, le creuset, 50p each.
I love them. Use them for lots ranging from baked oats to something to put the nuts in !

Amdone123 · 11/08/2021 18:30

I just googled them. £27 for 2 !
Beat my bargain !

Polkadots2021 · 11/08/2021 18:39

Found an expensive bear worth about £85 ish for £3 once! He's a much loved bear.

Cornettoninja · 11/08/2021 18:40

@Amdone123 I might be disqualified because it wasn’t a charity shop (gumtree I think) but I once got an immaculate dyson vacuum (purple one) for a tenner. The people who were selling it had a Miele that their cleaner preferred!

CommanderBurnham · 11/08/2021 18:41

Just bought a set of the cutest ice cream coupes for 20p each.

Amdone123 · 11/08/2021 18:47

@Cornettoninja, you're not disqualified ! A bargain is a bargain and wow, £10 well spent.

Cornettoninja · 11/08/2021 18:51

Thanks - it still feels good to get praise for grabbing a bargain Grin!

CharlieSays13 · 11/08/2021 18:56

It's beautiful OP. A friend once found a faux diamond and pearl choker that she thought would be perfect with her vintage wedding dress and gave them a tenner for it as she thought the £3 asking price was too cheep. Turns out it wasn't faux and the budget for her wedding grew significantly.

thecatsthecats · 11/08/2021 19:04

I found a le creuset pan in a house clearance pile. £120 online!

Best charity shop find was a LV (hideous) handbag for £2.

Aquamarine1029 · 11/08/2021 19:31

@AlwaysLatte

Wow! What a bargain! I absolutely love the colour.

Amdone123 · 11/08/2021 19:45

@thecatsthecats, did you use it ? I've done this. Bought a bargain bag but it was so bloodeh awful, it was a waste of a tenner !!!

Raaaaaaarr · 11/08/2021 20:22

Thank you it is so classic and beautiful- treasure it! (The lamp and the pot!!)
