Nuts
Crisps
Dip
Sweets

Basic I know! What are your go to nibbles to help me mix it up a bit?

Home made guacamole done with a lot of line juice and fresh red onion always gets demolished.

Cured meats. Just grab a slice of salami & a cornichon. I could live off that. Or with cocktail pickles onions

Popchips/ Doritos / cheese twists / breadsticks

Oatcakes with goats cheese. Little black pepper.

Grilled hallumi with a bit of chilli oil drizzled over it

Ooo I could do this all day. I love nibbles for suppers & parties!

BlueLobelia · 11/08/2021 17:35

Devilled eggs!

Little asparagus rolls!

[I grew up in the 70s]

idontlikealdi · 11/08/2021 17:58

mozarella pearl and cherry tomato on cocktail sticks

Different small melon cubes on cocktail sticks

Blinis with some kind of topping - used to love pecorino and basil from Waitrose with a basil leaf on top but they've discontinued it.

Charcuterie - ou get teh rollito type things or roll slices and stab with a cocktail stick

Olives

Marinated feta cubes

This day and age I'd stay away from anything with a risk of double dipping, sharing cutlery etc!

I do mini roast potatoes a lot, people hunt them down especially with hummus. Loads of salt pepper paprika and chopped rosemary on top.

I keep meaning to get a friends artichoke and cheese dip recipe, served hot with crisps or flatbread, seems to basically be tinned artichokes and soft and hard cheeses baked, it’s incredible.

Those fancy long chipolatas baked in honey and mustard are good too.

SwayingInTime · 11/08/2021 18:02

Spanish Tortilla cooked ahead too is easy with salad

furstivetreats · 11/08/2021 18:07

When you the mini roasties do you serve them on sticks or anything? They should lovely but I can’t imagine eating them with my fingers.

@idontlikealdi what are marinating the feta in?

I plonk a few large bags of crisps into bowls and put a load of supermarket dips near them. (I'm a slattern)
