How did it go? How does it compare to learning Arabic, or Chinese, or Spanish

Are there languages that particularly easy or hard to learn if you are dyslexic?

I don't know about Spanish, Arabic or Chinese but one of my dyslexic DC can speak a little Japanese and finds reading it a bit easier than English as its non phonetic

My Ds is dyslexic and learning Japanese, yes he does seem to find it easier than Latin based languages.

I'm dyslexic and am pretty much unteachable in regards to foreign languages.

I think that it might depend on the person wanting to learn Japanese whether or not they can learn it.

but you have learnt English though, so clearly you are capable of learning language

I take your point that it is likely to depend on the individual, I am just trying to get some idea of the range of experiences

Thank you
