How long for refund from Premier Inn?

Just wondered the average wait. My stay on the 24th was cancelled by them. I was told they would refund me straight away. I have been unable to speak to an actual human being at all and they haven't answered message or feedback form.

I have just had a nightmare trying to get a refund from them for something that happened whilst we were staying. All in all took just under 4 weeks and that was after emails, feedback forms and Facebook messenger.

I wouldn't mind if I had cancelled it. But they did, while I was travelling to the city. And I struggled to find other accommodation. Had to stay in a travel lodge 30 miles away. That was more expensive!
