What is your dream and are you following it?

Not a TAAT, but another one made me think. What is your lifelong dream, do you think it will happen, and are you putting concrete plans in place to follow it? I'll start - I'm desperate to get my PhD, have always wanted to but turned down the academic route for CS on graduation. I have always believed I would do it eventually (and sometimes joke about doing it when I retire) but have recently reached out to a Uni with an enquiry about starting in 2022. Fingers crossed. Anyone else?

I want to move to the coast. The only thing I'm doing towards it is starting to fix little jobs on the house and as soon as the last dc moves out in September will be doing a major declutter (to make it ready for selling)

I've dreamt of moving somewhere rural with beautiful countryside and lovely views, less traffic and pollution and to have the ability to choose a house I love rather than pick one of three we can afford, and this year we're actually doing it. A little worried reality won't live up to my dream but I know myself and truly believe this will make me happy and fulfilled.

The (entirely realistic) dream I'd spent 15 years diligently working towards went up in smoke about 5 years ago. I do not have any now.
