Feelings of dread

Have woken up with intense feelings of dread for the last couple of mornings. Have been sleeping a lot - napping in the day as well. Very unwilling to get out of bed. This morning had shivers as well.

Just want to curl up into a ball in a small dark room and scream. Currently on floxetine. Anything non drug related I can do?

Lots of shivers actually.

I've been thereFlowers.
Are you waiting for cbt or another type of therapy?
If not then I'd get on the phone to your GP.
Are you on your own?

Distraction isn't great in the long run but in short term episodes like this I distracted myself as much as I could.
I know you won't want to see anyone but could you call someone? Even email or text?
Go to a local shop and buy something for lunch?
Do you read?
I know suggesting you go out for a walk feels on par with asking you to climb Everest but could you just go around the block?
Stand at your door and get some air even?

Think I may be ill - VERY cold and shivery. Head hurts. But mostly just don't want to do ANYTHING. I need the loo and the thought of getting up to go seems quite overwhelming (I will - honest, I'm just using it as an illustration). DH is downstairs. Mentioned it earlier but don't want to make a big deal.

Annd... it's back. Feeling utterly redundant today. I have a million things I could do. Keep stopping and starting and then slumping back down in defeat. DH and DS going away today. Bit worried about being on my own. Having a lot of dreams when I sleep.

Obvious question but have you done a covid test?

Are you TTC? Sorry I ask because there was a thread like this where the lady was actually suffering from an ectopic pregnancy. She had this feeling of impending doom lurking over her x
