Are the best yoghurts.

No point arguing with me, I've taste tested many over the years and these always win hands down.

Yes to the cottage cheese, I can't find the yoghurts at all.

Thesearmsofmine · 09/08/2021 23:48

Longley Farm yoghurts are lovely. The banana ones are favourites in this house.

Flowersupnorth · 09/08/2021 23:49

I can't have any other cottage cheese! Have you tried their hazelnut yogurts, absolute perfection!

I buy mine from Morrisons.

Cottage cheese definitely the best.

Morrison's sell the yoghurts and they're good, but the best yoghurt is sainsburys finest full fat Greek yoghurt.

RampantIvy · 09/08/2021 23:51

I live not too far from Longley Farm Grin

safariboot · 09/08/2021 23:52

Their cottage cheese is great, but I don't care for flavoured yoghurts. Plain Greek for me, I'll add my own fruit and/or honey.

ISpyCobraKai · 09/08/2021 23:53

Our Morrisons don't, in fact nowhere here does.
Banana yoghurts are my favourite, after plain, full fat Greek, and the only ones I can find are The collective, kids pouch ones.

FlatteredFool · 09/08/2021 23:55

Their cottage cheese is so nice. All the others are watery. I like it on a sandwich with crisps. I don't think I've had the yogurts. The collective yogurts are my favourite. The morello Cherry one is divine.

See I don't do flavoured yoghurts either.

Longley farm are the only ones I find tolerable. Even then only the raspberry and the strawberry ones, they retain the sharpness I want from a yoghurt.

(I may be trying to keep myself awake to watch a calving cow - hence the yoghurt snacking and slightly obsessive thread).

Longley farm Rhubarb ones are delicious.

QueenAdreena · 09/08/2021 23:57

Never found the yoghurts, but the chive cottage cheese is amazing.

Scrowy · 10/08/2021 00:00

What I really like is that the logo and the branding has pretty much stayed the same since my childhood. Which was some time ago.

Cottage cheese Hazelnut yogurt toffee yogurt banana yogurt strawberry yogurt. That is the order of deliciousness courtesy of Longley Farm. I of course eat all other products and will forever hanker after peach melba and the tart but divine lemon yogurt but hardly anywhere sells them and the "usual" products are getting harder to buy so I take what I can get. I remember my cottage cheese being substituted by Asda own brand during one delivery and crying while eating the much inferior cheese on my jacket spud. The cheddar and salt I added didn't improve the experience.

Actually Co-op do a really tasty dairy fudge yogurt...

Scrowy · 10/08/2021 00:11

I tried the low fat cottage cheese from Longley Farm once.

It was as minging as all other supermarket cottage cheeses.

Full fat LF cottage cheese is in a league of its own.

Oh yeah I accidentally bought it one time and it was watery and taste free nevermind fat free.

Ruthietuthie · 10/08/2021 00:23

The hazelnut yoghurt from Longley Farm is also DELICIOUS. Whenever I come back to the UK I RUN to the local Morrisons to buy it.

NotMyCat · 10/08/2021 00:24

Their hazelnut yoghurts are so good
I prefer this cottage cheese though Blush and I am picky!

We had Longley Farm yoghurts at primary school. Every other flavoured yoghurt (especially hazelnut or rhubarb) has always been a disappointment to me.

I don't eat flavoured yoghurts anymore, but I do love cottage cheese. I don't know what alchemy they put in it, but my god! There isn't another cottage cheese like it. So creamy and satisfying. Sadly, my entire town is of the same mind, so if I don't grab my haul from the deli on a Saturday, I have to wait till Weds for the next delivery- it sells out that quick. Buying an alternative is clearly Not An Option, and a desperate disappointment.

PickAChew · 10/08/2021 00:25

Their stuff is lovely. Such a shame it all gives me the shits.

GrimDamnFanjo · 10/08/2021 00:27

I have found my people.
The cottage cheese and rhubarb yoghurt for me.

WildRunner · 10/08/2021 00:30

Just googled them to find where they're based, and they do mail order! And have a mahoosive bath-tub sized vat of cottage cheese for £1 on the basis it's best before 15th Aug - as if it's last that long!!!
