to much pip gone in

don't know if this is the right place to post but i need advice obviously i will ring them tomorrow, however my pip has gone in but they have sent 700 instead of 240. i am up for renewal but that wouldn't make sense as they don't back pay even if it goes up. could there be a genuine reason or will it just be a mistake because I'm going to stress until i can speak to them.

It's around 700 for enhanced rate for both components of PIP. If you've sent forms in or reported a change, it could be right.

Enhanced rate for both components is £608.60 so it could be they have increased your award
Sometimes the money goes in just before you receive the letter, so hopefully it's that.

thank you would be amazing if it was, would enhance my life a lot but i havent been contacted at all. i know they are trying to do more paper based and i did send a lot of evidence in with my renewal. can only hope and speak to them in the morning. i do remember the back pay going in before i got the letter so could be. finger crossed

It was due to back pay as my pip has been upped crying with relief over the difference it will make to my life and not having to stress about the renwal now
