Naproxen help

Been prescribed naproxen due to a recurring RSI in my wrists. When I spoke with the physio who sent the prescription request to the GP, they gave the impression it would be twice a day.
I collected the medication earlier and the GP has prescribed it for 3 times a day. I've checked the leaflet and none of the instructions for taking fit. It also doesn't really say the minimum time to leave between doses.
Would I be correct to leave around 6-8 hours between doses (like most pain killers)?

I take this, but only 2x a day, breakfast and tea time. Did they give you omeprazole too? It helps to protect your stomach.

@Soontobe60 I'm currently on omeprazole for supposed gastric reflux causing a chronic cough (despite me telling the GP and consultant numerous times that I get heartburn/reflux once in a blue moon).

If it's precribed 3 times a day, you need to take it every 8 hours. As 3x8=24 Take Naproxen with food. Hope you feel better soon.

I've been prescribed 500mg to be taken twice a day and then dropped down to 250mg to be taken three times a day. When I took it three times I day I took it at breakfast, at lunch and with my dinner, as it needs to be taken with food. I eat quite late in the evening though!
