Which terminal are you flying from? Do you need car parking ?

MayflowerMaisie · 09/08/2021 22:19

The Sofitel at T5 is lovely, and within the airport, but is £££

Mistymountain · 09/08/2021 22:20

If it's T5 Sofitel is the best, by a long way

It''s Virgin for the US so T3.

No parking needed as just taking DS down all staying overnight then putting him on flight

One of them is linked via the car parking pods I think to T5? Thistle perhaps? Means you wouldn't need a shuttle bus

So we are terminal 3 just found out so need a hotel really, really near Heathrow - any suggestions?????

The Sofitel at T5 is by far the best, but it’s very expensive.

When I’m paying the bill, I usually stay at the Premier Inn on Bath road, and get the normal bus to the terminal from the stop outside rather than the rip-off Hopper.

campaignforreasonabledebate · 11/08/2021 21:14

Funnily enough was just looking at this. Have you checked out either the Aerotel London Heathrow or the Hilton Garden Inn? Both look like there are 'in terminal' or at least within the curtilage of the central (T2 / 3) section. You pay more for them, but if its convenience you want, worth a look?

BlackAlys · 11/08/2021 22:56

Does the Sofitel and other airport hotels ever give discounts?
