Is it normal to gag when cleaning a potty??!!

I have never , not once, had a problem with changing a nappy no matter how stinky they've been. Potty training is a whole new ball game and I find myself physically gagging whilst trying to clean it out. Tell me I'm not alone and I'll become immune??!?

I'm absolutely the same. A nappy has never caused me a problem but the potty made me feel so sick. We moved quickly to the toilet!

Can you skip the potty and go straight to a good toilet seat? I didn't ever use a potty for any of my three children. Baby Bjorn to an amazing seat which is very sturdy and secure. Not cheap but worth it imo.

Get a small seat for the toilet and skip potty

Yes, had to get mine using the toilet for this reason !!

Thank god I'm not alone, I actually thought I was going to throw up earlier. Toilet seat it is!!
