How painful are collarbone/chest tattoos?

Thinking of getting matching collarbone tattoos, slightly below the bone.

How painful are there compared to leg/back?

I'm not great with the pain.

Pain is subjective so I cant really help but I have tattoos in lots of places and I think the design rather than the placement determines how painful it is. Lots of shading and dark areas is a lot more painful than line work.

I'm not going for lots of black shading, I'm thinking of some fairly dainty wildflowers to remind me of my wedding bouquet.

I've got back, arm, calf and thigh tattoos. But for some reason I'm more worried about collarbone! Can't be worse than knee pit?

Anyone?

I think it would hurt quite a bit. Got my first one two weeks ago on my leg and it hurt more than I thought it would. I have fibromyalgia and sensitive to pain so maybe that’s why though

Of all I've had I've struggled most with the back of my knee and my upper spine.

Wondered if collarbones would be anywhere near those.

Though my friend says her thigh was her worst and I thought thigh barely hurt at all.

I'm interested in this.

My thigh was also my worst. Especially the inner thigh. It hurt that much I never went back and got the other thigh done 🤣

That's so weird, I thought thigh was my least painful!

I also thought forearm and wrist was ok, and my friend fainted.

I was shaking so much having my calf done though, especially near the ankle.

Collar bones hurt. I have both done an its by far the most pain I’ve been in! However, it will depend on your own pain threshold!
