Smellordie - very boring question

This will be the dullest thing you’ve read all day, promise.

I am currently pregnant and instead of usual pregnancy food cravings or aversions it appears that only my sense of smell is affected, by which I mean that I get a bit obsessive about particular smells.

The list so far is almost all cleaning products - I found myself boiling dish cloths in Vanish on the job just to get the smell of it, Fairy fabric softener, Flash Traditional French Soap (I have backup bottles so I don’t run out!!)

Getting to the point - the holy grail at the moment would be the smell and crispiness of hotel sheets, I know they are professionally cleaned to get this effect but does anyone have any pointers on properly crispy, ‘hotel smell’ whites? I’ve considered laundry stripping but read that this is only really effective in the US where cold washing is more common?

Honestly, I do have more than enough to be getting on with at the moment and I do have other, normal hobbies (😂) but this is something that someone out there has to know!!
