Slipped disc / sciatica

Any fellow sufferers around?

I am shamelessly after sympathy. DP does not get it at all and I understand why, I can be hunched up barely able to move but then once I’ve managed to get myself moving I look fine, but it still aches.

It is so tiring, too, I feel constant low level pain / discomfort.

You have my sympathy. At the moment I just have a constant buzzing sensation in the sole of my right foot with numb little toes. Its annoying but at least my pain levels are under control (took a while but now on gabapentin and tramadol). I can sometimes feel suicidal when I get a full on pain attack. My brother admitted to me that he used to think of me as a bit of a moaning wimp until he suddenly developed Sciatica and begged his GP for help which was slow in arriving so went to A&E in desperation. He was told he had Sciatica by a doctor who apparently told him to apologise to me. To be fair I wouldn't have known about him slagging me off had he not felt the urge to apologise for something I didn't know about. Twat.
