Anyone brought one of the uni kits before - any recommendations?

I saw a set in the IKEA kitchen section last time I was there which is probably what we'll go for.

Honestly, just give them your cast offs. Two old plates, two old side plates, two old bowls. Old mugs, small saucepan, larger pan, frying pan (theis will get used the most). Spatulas, spoons, etc. That way, if they lose, break, forget, get nicked, you are not worried. I welcomed palming off an old frying pan and having a new one. You likely have loads of stuff in your kitchen cupboards - get rid via the student!

Look on your local Freebay sites and Facebook Marketplace, lots of good things cheap or free. Charity shops are good for kitchen stuff.
