Can the Waterpik Waterfloser prevent staining?

Just that really. I drink tea and coffee and my teeth get stained. I brush and floss well but I still have to have them cleaned. My dentist now charges £55 for this. Just wondering if the investment would pay off

Short answer, no it doesn’t.

I had one of these and it was rubbish if I’m honest. The jet isn’t powerful enough to do anything that normal flossing can’t do. Did nothing to change the whiteness of my teeth either. When I mentioned it to my dentist she also said they were not much use and normal flossing was better.

I use tepe brushes and a Waterpik my dentist recommended both. They are to get stuff from between the teeth/gum line rather than to remove stains from surfaces.
