Not in health as we are both generally healthy, not in fitness as we aren’t knowledgeable in that area….
Pure interest, there’s so much online it’s confusing. My husband and I have different effects on our heart rates in strenuous exercise, after a similar burst of intense exercise (both pushing ourselves), after a sprint my heart rate goes a fair bit higher yet my resting heart rate is a fair bit lower (nearly 20 beats different to his either way). Mine seems far more reactive with highs and lows (can be mid 50s even after a long rest). Mine though goes higher by some bit in exercise or when unwell, though it does drop down very fast.
Any one fancy taking a minute to explain why? I’d say we are both middle range of a healthy bmi and every day fit, though not gym goers. Cycle and do some home cardio to maintain health, kinda average people. Sunday morning experiments here…
