Why am I suddenly getting periods again? (Pill)

I've been on the pill for about 7 years, had 6 months or so of continuous bleeding/spotting and then no periods. Until last year when I had a checkup to see what stage prolapse I had, took a 7-10 days to stop bleeding. Since then I had random bleeding but for the past 6 months I've had a period every month. Still taking cerazette, haven't missed any. I am having some symptoms of peri menopause and if they continue I'm to book myself in for a blood test.
I've had ovarian cysts in the past, but was scanned in may and all clear.
So... why am I getting periods again? Is it because of peri- menopause? Is the pill still effective contraception or is it not working any more? How worried should I be? Has anyone else had this?

I have no answers, but I'm the same. I randomly get a 2 day period every month now. I'm guessing it's age related...
