Recommendations for Places to eat near Stow on the Wold

I wonder if anyone would be able to recommend anywhere nice to eat in or around Stow on the Wold? My DSis and I are taking my elderly mother away at the beginning of September to stay in a cottage in Stow. I would like to make some dinner reservations before we go for 3 or 4 of the evenings.

I have had a look myself and like the look of The Old Butchers but wonder if anyone else can recommend anywhere? We have a car so happy to drive out a bit. We don't mind if it's a pub or restaurant.

The Old Butchers has a good reputation.... and there are some decent gastropubs in the villages between Stow and Chipping Norton and more on the run into Banbury. The Boxing Hare closer to Banbury was pointed out to me a week ago as good.
