Nicotine stained fingers and teeth

I've been a 20 plus a day smoker for nearly 30 years. I'm on day one of quitting. My fingers are yellow and my teeth have got a slight yellow/brown colour to them.
Any advice?

Speak to your dentist about your teeth, but in the mean time get a whitening toothpaste.

I used to dilute bleach on a cotton pad for my fingers

Thank you. I was thinking bleach may be the only thing that would work quickly.
I've bought whitening toothpaste but not convinced it will work.
My dentist will only do Emergancy treatments at the minute and not due for check up for another 4 months. (It's a NHS Dentist if that makes any difference)

I think you will need to see a dentist or hygienist privately for staining/whitening.

Smokers tooth powder does a good job but don't use it too often apparently.

I've googled a rough idea of cost for professional tooth whitening in UK it's saying between £500 and £1000! I'll try smokers toothpaste and get saving

Find a dentist that does Airflow cleaning, it's great for smokers.
Understand you can't see your NHS dentist atm but you can always register to a private one for a one off treatment etc.
