Does anyone know about hallmarks?

I'm looking at the hallmarks on a family ring and I can't work out what the date letter is as it is sideways on. It's either n or u! I thought n at first. Then there is the issue of what style of n/u to actually date it.

I know it's London and 22 carat.

Does anyone know about hallmarks?

It's n, so 2012

Hard to see the style bit could also be 1928 or 1935?

Ha, I thought n too but he chart I saw it would have been much earlier than that. More like 1908?
How long have you had it? What do you know about it??

It's definitely not 2012.

It should be around 1960 but it isn't - theoretically it's my mum's wedding ring. I now think she swapped it for an older relative's ring but we don't know who.

My first thought was 1908.

I will take it to a jewellers as I have to get insurance valuations done on other rings but it's always worth asking MN first!

I'm kind of leaning towards a u because of the flatness of the serif that would be bottom right. So, possibly 1915.
