I've a free day and the rain has ruined my plans, so I'm stuck inside.

To save me from being bored, I thought I'd tackle those jobs that stay on your to do list forever. On mine is

  • sort wardrobes and do a charity shop run
  • touch up paint where I've marked walls
  • throw away Tupperware with no lids and vice versa.

What's on your list that I can steal ?

I’ve been even sorting my photos for the last couple of months - both printed and electronic. I’ve got thousands of photos so its a huge job that I was meaning to do for years. I’m about half way through but can’t do much with dc around.

Sort out make-up, be ruthless and get rid of everything I no longer use and wash all brushes and containers.

I've got a big list of jobs I need to do but always seem to full my time so I don't get round to them. I'm getting my hairs done at the moment. When I get home I need to sort the washing and give the house a clean as I've for some friends come round tonight. Then the dog will need a walk and I need to pop to the shop.

Camomila · 07/08/2021 11:42

-take bags of clothes to fabric recycling bin
-sort DC outgrown clothes into keep/charity shop/fabric recycling bin
-apply for better job
-buy storage baskets
-clean curtains

OoglyMoogly · 07/08/2021 11:52

Curtain cleaning, wash skirting boards and door frames, clean windows. Crank up some good music while you're doing it.

I sing along too.

I do live in a detached house well set back from the road so no neighbours to judge me worry about.

Polmuggle · 07/08/2021 13:38

These are good!

So far I've sorted my wardrobes and have a big bag for the charity shop. Just pausing for a magnum Blush then onto paperwork!

I have an afternoon to myself (12-9pm ish, thanks football Grin). First time since schools broke up.

So far I have watched lots of Coronation Street whilst drinking coffee & eating cake Blush

Cleared out fridge & peeled & grated/chopped some elderly carrots for the freezer, made chocolate courgette cake with a glut.

Next on list is shower, put up shower shelves, then put away clothes. Nothing wildly exciting at all! Oh, also pop to Aldi at some point.

MissMarplesGoddaughter · 08/08/2021 06:09

@Polmuggle Flowers

Just to say I did several things on my list and am really pleased to done some sorting out.

I've decided to make a list of things to be done and aim to complete several each week.

WeMarchOn · 08/08/2021 06:22

I have a course to write and a blog to write too but I'm seriously procrastinating 😩
