Is this a silly idea or helpful

I live in a new build flat in a small town outside my flat we always get drunk fights etc tonight a guy was unconscious in the street bleeding and all his mates where to drunk to properly help. I called an ambulance after hearing and seeing most of it through my window. I ran down with a towel to help as all they had was a shirt of some guy. Luckily I also had some cheap men’s white t shorts for sewing so came back up and gave it to the topless guy to wear while he helped. Would it be a silly idea to have a bunch of cheap tea towels to keep for this occasion as it’s the second time it’s happened in 6 months although fights happen regularly. Luckily I’m a light sleeper or awake so I can hear and see most things.

Not silly at all, but please be very careful of your own safety if approaching a group of drunk men who have been fighting, and are in such a state, they can't help their mate.

If in any doubt, leave it to the emergency services/ throw down the towels from above.

Yes I’m very careful police where on there way there was also a group of girls who where with them but they where all hysterical due to watching the punch. Luckily I could just throw the tea towels down if I had to will grab some cheap ones next time I’m in IKEA as this time I gave my 20 year old beach towel
