Work VS Nursery

How am I suppose to find a job when I can’t even find a nursery.
Then once I do, I have to drop off 3 children at 3 separate venues and still get myself to a job and back again in time to collect all 3.
Just to work to pay for nursery and be able to feed ourselves, because Husband works full time and pays all bills but still not enough to survive?
My job has laid me off without pay due to covid and now looking for alternative work is making my anxiety go through the roof..
Any tips for me please?

Breath, think, plan.

Start with what childcare you need, the work out what is available near you. Does it need to be three venues? With three kids would a nanny’s cheaper? No idea, but you need to think through everything.

Then plan drop offs and pick ups. And you DH needs to help with this - many many people have FT jobs and do that (me for instance!).

Then look at the finances. And remember when you do it, that you’re not just working for your take home pay, but also for your pension, and to be on the ladder so that (hopefully) your pay will increase and you’ll be in a good position when you stop needing to pay for childcare.

Good luck x

I’d find somewhere you can drop all 3 kids together. Do older ones go to school? How about a childminder that can drop older ones to school and look after the baby?

A full time nanny would probably be £30k+
