Tried finding it on their website but you're forced down the giving details route and can't be bothered with sales calls.

Wondering if can afford for mr DH and DS (16) if they add on people at a cheaper rate.

Not London based if that makes a difference

A mate of mine was member about 10yrs ago, I think he was paying about £100 a month for him as a single adult.

hahahayoumustbejoking · 06/08/2021 19:19

I fear it's £129 a month now Confused so hoping additional members allow a better deal

We went 4 weeks ago to get a cost and It was £268pm for 2 adults and 2 kids

NotN0wBernard · 06/08/2021 19:22

Ours costs £278 a month for 2x adults with a premium membership (includes towels and discounts) and 2x kids with a regular membership. That's London based. It's a massive splurge compared to our old leisure centre days but we use it almost every day and the kids love all the (free) activities.

Ours is about that but children are young so themselves are very cheap (ie adding the kids on is cheap, not the whole membership)

I pay £128 per month for dh and me

Oh my days, might be old Duncan Bannatynes then. £105 for all three of us but tiny tiny pool.

DL has a heated outdoor pool that keeps calling my name

Ours was £250 - 3 adults and a 7 year old in the East Midlands and that was a few years ago now.

Each or total?

I dread to think how much time they waste giving people the full tour because they refuse to give costs up front.

KateTheEighth · 06/08/2021 19:29

£128 total for dh and me

They do give full costs up front on the website. Just enter a fake email address if you don’t want to share yours.

I enquired by email last summer (not London but in the south so probably more expensive than some locations):

“Club Platinum is full access to the gym, all classes, all wet facilities and racket sports. This membership also gives you extra benefits such as towel service, 10% off at the bar and a guest pass each month. This £178 per month as a couple so £89 each on a 12 month plan.

Club Plus is gym, swim and classes at anytime. This is £156 a month as a couple so £78 per person.

Club Membership is our off peak option – this is access between 11 and 4 during the week and anytime after 2 on the weekend. This is £54 per person on a 12 month plan.

Any 3 month plan is £15 more per month per person.

We normally have a £100 joining fee with all our adult memberships. “

Kids membership is £31 per month.

My Dave is £100 a month for me and daughter. We have premium which includes towels. Didn't need it but was a better joining offer and get one guest pass a month which DH uses.

sleepyhoglet · 06/08/2021 21:30

And we love the outdoor pool.

peanutbear · 06/08/2021 21:38

I'm in the Midlands and I pay £125 for myself and my 15 year old. I wanted to add on my adult son and they said that would be £70 a month more.

beetheone · 06/08/2021 21:40

I went to join the other day they quoted £78

beetheone · 06/08/2021 21:41

Sorry thats for 1 person

Smurf123 · 06/08/2021 21:43

We pay £157 for 2 adults and a 3 year old (I think he's £25 a month)

Smurf123 · 06/08/2021 21:44

Meant to say also that's for the platinum membership and we got an offer at the time for no joining fee and first month free

ElizaDoolots · 06/08/2021 21:47

Ours is £160 per month just for me and DH. DD is free for now but will be an extra £40 when she turns 3. It’s nice but really not worth it for how much we use it. DH likes it but I’m keen to cancel.

ElizaDoolots · 06/08/2021 21:48

That’s not even for platinum membership, we’re the next level down whatever that’s called (get everything apart from spa and tennis)

RockaLock · 06/08/2021 21:56

We've just given ours up. We were on an off-peak membership, which meant that in term time the only time we could all go to the gym together was after 2pm at the weekend.

We were paying £66 each for me & DH and £30 for each of the DC, so £192 per month in total for a family of 4, with very restricted hours. It just wasn't worth it for us at all.
