New York with a 10 month old...mad?

Am I bonkers to even consider it?

Honeymoon looking likely to be cancelled yet again; I don't know we're likely to travel to this country. Currently it's so red, it's almost black. Hotel quarantine not an option. DD was due to come with us.

With that in mind, we like the idea of going to New York for a few days before Christmas. My mum would happily have my DD, but whilst I wouldn't worry about her, I just know I'd miss her too much and feel guilty about leaving her for so long. However, whilst I'm not concerned about traipsing her round New York (I've been before, plus she's a very easy baby) I am really worried about the time difference. She's a great sleeper (so far - fully aware this could change), but I am concerned that the time difference would be brutal on her sleep over there. It would be different if we were there for two weeks and she could acclimatise, but we're only looking at 4 days.

Has anyone travelled to a different time zone with a 10 month old and can tell me their experience?

I’ve done an 8 hour time difference with a 7 month old (not a holiday). It was brutal for days after. Don’t do it.
(Sorry)
