Anybody else's DC having a mad day?

My DSes, particularly the 10-year old (with ADHD/ASC) & 7-year old are completely loopy today 🤪 Just very energetic, niggling at each other more than usual, quite emotional. It's a sharp contrast to yesterday where they were very good & content for most of the day.

I have taken them out on a rare bike ride (to a cafe!), seen grandparents, fed & watered as usual, but they are still like it! Have to admit I have now allowed an hour on screens in the hope of some quiet time & I am looking forward to grocery shopping for my grandparents at 6pm

It is very windy here so wonder if they have 'the wind in their tails', the cat is also behaving the same way!

Yes its it's the wind. It makes a huge difference to children's behaviour in school.

I had to rugby ball carry my 4 year old out of the park today for shocking behaviour. Can I really blame the wind? That makes me feel a bit better.

Funny enough same here.... Im letting them go screens soon as well DS6 wants to play the Sims 4 and DD4 will watch some YouTube bloody vlad and niki is better than wining....

Ah of course, it’s the wind! Yes mine are being a complete pain. I’m wfh and they have had a lot of screen time today….(yes I am a bad mum)

So glad it's not just mine I always feel bad for putting them on screens, but in reality I can't keep them busy all day & have loads to do! @Dizzywizz I think it's vital if you are WFH, must be really tricky.
