Tell me about the weird things you've done in your sleep

Last night I went to bed before DH and when he came up I sat up and screamed, like there was a stranger in the room, then went back to sleep. I didn't remember anything about it until he brought it up this morning.

DS used to be a regular sleep walker. I've found him weeing in the kitchen bin, getting dressed, putting on shoes and running around the house, all while fast asleep. He has no memories of any of it.

I've sat up and told my partner if he doesn't do the cleaning I'm going to leave him Blush

He makes chewing noises CONSTANTLY in his sleep.

Laughing. Proper evil manic laughing that eventually wakes me up to the horrified face of the poor sod next to me

My dad came in once, he hadn't heard me come in, so checked I was in bed. I sat up and asked for a cup of tea. I never drink teaGrin

We used to live in an old cottage and the bedrooms were in the eaves, meaning the windows were really low. I dreamt I was taking the curtains off for cleaning.
When I woke up, the curtains were neatly folded and stuffed on top of the curtain pole.

I talk and shout, and can a have a little conversation. I’ve always done it though, I sometimes wake up alarmed and realise I’ve been arguing in my sleep and have been shouting 😑

BlowDryRat · 06/08/2021 12:38

Did you make the most of it and wash the curtains NiceTwin?

My best one was trying to climb out the window thinking we were being gassed.

But, DHs favourite thing in the world is when he says....you're dreaming, go back to sleep all gently and loving, and I scream back no I'm awake look! And proceed to count backwards from 10 thinking this means I'm awake.

I talked n my sleep when I was younger but as nothing wakes DH I have no idea if I still do. On the other hand he often chairs meetings in his sleep. And he does this thing with his arm. Bent arm and his elbow up in the air. Often just above my face. If I'm awake I push I down but then watch as it gradually returns to its mid air position as I watch. How I have not received a serious injury I have no idea.

@BlowDryRat yep that seems to be the general reaction!

I actually love when it happens, I wake up feeling so happy, like when you've proper belly laughed for ages.
