I'm trying to get my son his first football shirt. He needs long sleeves so I'm looking at an old season New Balance shirt. The sizing makes no sense. On height he clearly needs the mb size, but all the other measurements on their size chart seem huge for him. He doesn't normally need to size down, he's pretty big for his age, he's about 135-137 tall and usually sizes up. But I don't want to get something that just hangs off him.
Does anyone have a New Balance shirt in the sb, mb, lb sizes and could tell me how they come up compared to standard shop sizes please?
