Does anyone know, I don't have anywhere locally that sells them to try and crocs returns take months. Unfortunately standard wellies seem too high up on her chunky calves. Was thinking of these ?

Hi
@smileandsmilessooooo I am looking at these crocs handle it for my 15mo. Just wondered whether you ended up buying them?
My boy is quite a confident walker now but I feel wellies might be a bit tricky for him. Would love to hear your thoughts. X

Yes they are! Going back several years now but my DC2 had beautiful chubby toddler calves aged 1 or 2 and he didn't fit into DC1's aigle wellies...the crocs wellies were perfect and the handles were great for pulling them on

You can buy them on next online - they do easy returns.
I bought some last week for my toddler from there, they look good but I wouldn't say that they are particular wide as they are a bit awkward to get on his feet!

My dad had small feet but high instep so we could never get boots or pretty shoes to fit (still can't and she's 8). I tried crocs and she couldn't get them over her ankles Hmm

@EL1984 I didn't as saw another child in them and they looked tight-ish, but my DC is vvv chunky, I got baby Bog boots again, in size 7-8 I think. I had them with DC1, they are lined so very warm, so good now but not idea in spring say. ( excuse my name change) Not the easiest to walk in, but they fit.

I can get my high, wide, short feet and chunky calves into crocs wellies. Normally to get my legs in to wellies, I have to upsize a couple of inches!

I've got crocs wellies, they're absolute torture, too rigid and painful around the ankle.

voxnihili · 28/11/2021 06:19

We have these wellies. My DD loves them and they’re properly waterproof. She has really narrow feet and ankles though so not sure how great they’d be for wide feet / ankles.

SmallWaistFatFace · 28/11/2021 06:35

I got those wellies as my toddler was a right little chunky monkey and they were the only wellies that fit.

I bought some from Amazon and had to send them back as couldn't get them over my son's feet. I'd bought a size up as well to compensate for his wide feet. He doesn't have chunky legs, just wide foot width. So I'd say buy with caution
