Can anyone read GREEK?! Washing machine instructions help needed

I’m on holiday in Greece and tried to wash some beach towels. After the machine has been running for hours I eventually gave up and pressed stopped. The towels were not even rinsed and machine is full of soapy water.

Is there a rinse, drain or quick wash option on this machine please?

I’d be very grateful if anyone can help 😁

What make model is the machine? Might just be able to Google English instructions for it and work out from that?

Nonamenoplacetogo · 06/08/2021 06:56

Turn to the right- ‘cottons’ and choose temp 40 for the towels. To the left is ‘synthetics’ and woollens.
Press the grey bottom to start. The other buttons are to extend and add water

OutOfTrousers · 06/08/2021 06:56

I’d go for synthetic, stop, cotton across the top…
Can’t you put the words into google translate?

PlumpCushion · 06/08/2021 06:57

It’s a Pitsos Vario 7. Only thing I can see online in English are installation instructions for another model. Good idea though 🤷‍♀️

Sorry no quick wash

PlumpCushion · 06/08/2021 06:59

Thanks everyone. Funnily enough I did put it on the 40 degrees option on the right….. it was going for hours……, that’s when I gave up. Need to drain the machine. and ideally rinse my now dried soapy towels!!

The google translate idea works better if you can type Greek letters! I found the word cottons that way but it’s not an easy solution

I think the option on the left under the 3rd line is for draining it. The options on the right are cotton cycles

WildFlowerBees · 06/08/2021 07:04

If you use the camera option on translate it'll translate the words shown no need to type them in. Godsend in Japan!

dementedpixie · 06/08/2021 07:05

Sorry, under the last line not the 3rd

roses2 · 06/08/2021 07:06

Βαμβακερά = clothes made of cotton

Βαμβακερά με πρόπλυση = cotton clothes, but with a pre-wash cycle

Ξέβγαλμα = rinse

Στύψιμο + άντληση = spin and drain

Καθαρισμός κάδου = clean the washer

πανωφόρια = coats etc

Συνθετικά = synthetic clothes

Μάλλινα = wool (πλύσιμο στο χέρι = hand wash)

Πουκάμισα = shirts

Καθημερινά express = for everyday clothes, a quick wash

dementedpixie · 06/08/2021 07:10

Is that not from a different machine?

roses2 · 06/08/2021 07:12

Here is a photo of the same machine in English:

From the 6 o'clock position going clockwise the 3 settings are rinse, drain and spin

There's no quick wash optioall but the setting at 11 o'clock position is for synthetics at 40 and the next one over is synthetic cold wash so they might be quicker than a cottons wash

dementedpixie · 06/08/2021 08:15

https://www.lexilogos.com/english/greek_translation.htm#

I have found this which lets you type in the characters to find out what the programmes are
Going from the first option under the last line on the left it should be drain, spin, rinse

PlumpCushion · 06/08/2021 08:16

Aah thanks so much lovely mumsnetters ☺️

Left from the top is synthetics cold and 40°c, delicates cold and wool cold.

The bit at the bottom is 60°c plus prewash
