Israel - Iran conflict. WW3?

Listening to LBC at the moment it sounds a knife edge situation between Israel and Iran currently. With the effects of opposing global powers backing each side, commentators said they see a real and imminent threat of global conflict and risk of nuclear weapons.
I’m really surprised if this threat is as worrying and imminent that it’s not more prominent in the news? Does anyone know much about it? Majid Nawaz is usually very up on global affairs. Very worrying. Let’s hope it cools down soon.

Both tiresome, aggressive holes with rampant ethnic cleansinng who need a constant apparent threat to keep its leaders in place. Im sure it will be fine.

Iran has so many internal problems that it's highly unlikely it could take on Israel and if it was daft enough to try and it lost, there would be revolution.

They don't even have a land border. An increase in proxy wars, digital sabotage, and such is likely. Open conflict is not.
