Is anyone else covered in bruises from their baby?

My thighs are covered in little bruises where DS has been digging his toes in when he's standing on me.

DS is 8 months and has a lovely heft to him, but even when he was younger this would happen. I look like I've pinched everywhere, thank god I don't need to see the GP about anything in that area or they might think I've been hurt by DP Confused

No longer, but I did end up in A&E after a nasty eye poke.

Yep. For years!! Little tiny toe bruises from him standing. He was sooo clingy and didn’t walk until 17 months!

I got a smear test when DN was tiny, and the GP asked me in a really concerned way if everything was ok at home. I realised belatedly that the livid bruises all up my legs had made her think I was a victim of DV, not a victim of a small child constantly climbing me the weekend before!

My own DD used to love strenuously pulling herself up to a standing position by grabbing a big hank of my hair, too.

They are awful.

Covered in scratches and bruises from a very boisterous DS age 2.

Yep. But that baby is now 11 and still climbs all over me.

Yes exactly the same, him and a very bouncy puppy. When I went for a midwife appointment before he arrived she seemed concerned by the scratches and bruises on my bump and I had to explain that the puppy struggled to get comfy on my lap Confused

Yup. Little round bruises on my boobs .. He asks to nurse by pinching them .. The joys

Yes!! I was almost starting this at teatime. Bruises and scratches. Grabs my cheeks, bounces constantly. Can't ever get those nails just right and, as ever dramatic DH would say, lacerates me!

I have ordered a little baby dremel tool as no matter how I use the clippers or scissors the corners still always get me!
