Anyone recommend a good ID bracelet or something else for a toddler?

DS is 2.5 and a whirlwind!
He's very active but usually stuck to my side when we are out and about however he panicked the other day and couldn't see me when we were out and made a run for it in a panic.
It for me thinking about some kind of I.D bracelet or something similar.
Can anyone recommend anything that won't annoy him? Or that he can't rip off easily?! Is there such a thing?

We have one of these for my son:

iceid.co.uk/nylon-thin-bracelet-ice-id/

It’s very hard wearing and comfortable to wear. There was also an occasion when we lost DS that someone was actually able to call my number and let him know he was safe and where I could collect him. Definitely worth it.

An ID bracelet is a good idea.

Plus a ‘find my keys’ tracker attached to their belt loop/jacket ect.

I used to write my phone number on DD with Sharpie at theme parks Blush

I found a lost child at Disneyland once and it scared the crap out of me.

@MrsTerryPratchett That's probably a good idea actually 😆

When we went to Disney I ordered some temp tattoos with my number on. Huge family trip. Everyone took the piss.

Day 1: youngest niece went walkabout - I got a phone call.
Day 3: eldest niece went walkabout - I got a phone call Wink

I love when I get proves right! Did you control your justified smuggery?

Not good for everyday use but when we went somewhere really busy like a zoo or festival I'd buy a helium balloon (not great for the environment - and I don't buy them anymore). And would attach it to the grab handle of her little life rucksack that way it was always floating above her and she was very easy to see.

Tattoos are a great idea. I've also sharpied my phone number on her arm before and made a bead bracelet with it on.

i buy the paper wristbands that you get at festivals/fairs and just write my number on them. i got 100 for about £3. they’re really hard for kids to pull off and they’re in bright neon colours so likely to catch someone’s eye if i ever do lose one of my brood.

Blank label stickers - Slap one on the back of their coat (and also the top underneath their coat just in case it gets taken off) with your phone number on. Easy for someone else to spot and call you, hard for them to take off!

Also, the tip that's always mentioned on here - take a photo of them that morning so you have a picture to circulate of them wearing exactly the right clothes should they go missing.

Write your phone number on the back of the tongue bit of their trainers (and show your DC so they can point it out to whoever’s found them)
