Arm bands/ vest older child

Can anyone recommend arm bands, vest or similar for a 10 year old non swimmer?

I'm taking DSD and DSS swimming at the weekend and in the past the pool have have the arm floats available but due to Covid this isn't available at the moment.

The younger one isn't a problem but the elder, 10 years old, I am struggling to find anything suitable for. We definitely need them as she is a very anxious non-swimmer and will not get in the water without them.

Thank you

Probably best with a pool noodle or those flat floats you hold onto

Unfortunately she absolutely will not get in the pool with out arm bands. She goes swimming with school and they have the foam type bands there where you reduce the number you need as you learn. She's getting all anxious about it and I feel terrible that it didn't cross my mind about it! We have older arm bands from 2 years ago but they won't go on her arms 😬

You can buy swimming discs

Can you just deflate the armbands slightly to make them looser?

You can buy the foam disc type ones probably on amazon for next day delivery. Or check somewhere like Decathlon, they probably have them.

Thanks all

I'll have a look for some discs. Got myself into a completely tizzy trying to reassure her. I really want her to feel confident and I never know if I'm saying the right things!
