Podcasts!
Bullet journal
Check finances
See if you can get a better deal on insurance, gas, net, phone etc

Bananacocks · 04/08/2021 20:42

Get a diamond paint picture, we did these in lockdown and they eat time but quite relaxing

Hfjshdhs · 04/08/2021 20:59

This is my dream at the moment. I would nap.

Sleep

And maybe some more sleep

BastardMonkfish · 04/08/2021 21:15

All of us with kids dreaming of 10 days to spend alone sleeping, watching TV that isn't Paw Patrol and eating all the snacks and takeaways Grin

Dh+dds lft -ve so far. They're going to have to run house(dd2 is good for house work when told what needs doing, dd1(asd) is good at finding excuses and dh is v busy with work(manual.job,.down to 2 people from 3) so knackered by the time he gets home.

amgine · 04/08/2021 21:36

Your DH shouldn’t be going out surely?

hellsbellswithcherryontop · 04/08/2021 21:47

Craft wise I built a miniature library that took up so much time and it was amazing. Needlefelting is a easy craft and my daughter painted an amazing paint by numbers.
Also like planning everything/season on Pinterest. Do Xmas shopping and get ahead. Plan weekends away/events.
Beauty treatments that never usually get a look in
Napping. Weights

Apart from having a holiday booked, I'm inclined to agree with you. A positive but not severe case would mean being shut in a bedroom with tv, books and food brought to you?! Lovely.
BarbaraofSeville · 05/08/2021 08:12

You might want to look up the books from a woman who isolated herself in her own house 'covid corner' due to CEV over the last year or so for some lighthearted entertainment

If you're not too unwell, you could try a bit of light exercise, stretching, yoga etc.

mdh2020 · 05/08/2021 08:44

Jigsaws - we do them on our tablets.
Try sketching or painting by numbers?
Frankly, I’m going into hospital for a few days and will have a private room and am looking forward to the peace and quiet and nobody asking me to look after anyone else. I might even turn my phone off!

TheSandgroper · 05/08/2021 08:45

Pick a poem or song and learn it? I always wanted to learn “The Man from Snowy River”.

sylbunny · 05/08/2021 09:36

God what a dream! I'd read, nap, watch tv and cross stitch. Maybe build a model.

Kittykatmacbill · 05/08/2021 09:55

That sounds amazing. Neglected craft kits; work through my finances (I am sure there are better options out there!), nap and do some core work outs (I wouldn’t actually do this but I like to think I would!)

Mynameisthecatwhogotthecream · 05/08/2021 11:47

dd1 who is asthmatic has just done a +ve ltf and is wheezing, waiting for a call back from dr

TheGirlInTheGreenDress · 05/08/2021 11:51

There’s some free courses on the Open Uni that I have a vague intention of doing if I have to self isolate. You could see if there’s anything of interest on there?

Palavah · 05/08/2021 11:51

Yoga/pilates if you're feeling well enough

TenCornMaidens · 05/08/2021 11:54

Wardrobe sort out and playing dress up with your clothes

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 05/08/2021 12:00

Read books?

Howmanysleepsnow · 05/08/2021 13:16

Nap.
Eat.
Read.
Mumsnet
Duolingo
Paint my nails because I never have time normally

Howmanysleepsnow · 05/08/2021 13:22

I’ll be honest, I wouldn’t mind a few days confined to a room by myself Grin
