Shoulder pain/upper back pain from Ospreys?

Anyone else who found their backpack hurts your shoulders and upper back?

I have been complaining for 3 years (only use it when traveling in holiday). DH just couldn't believe me, because he's really happy with his 40L one.

Mine is probably 30l or 35l. I've adjusted it again and again but still never found it any better.

I suspect it's to do with the body shape. I'm quite slim with sloping shoulders which are kind of narrow.

Which one do you have?

I have a Renn 65 and find it absolutely brilliant. I can easily do a full day's hike with no issue. Others I find unbearable though. It was a matter of finding one that suited my very short torso and narrow shoulders.

I just found the record of the order. Mine is a Nova33.

The problem backpacks are the kind of things unless you use it, you would never know if it suits you just by guessing.
