Must-Do things in Brighton with kids?

Heading to Brighton at the end of the month and we have our general days out planned, but I wondered if there were things we must do / must see / best foods in Brighton itself, that we can fit around proper trips out to venues.

The kids are 7 and 10 and love the beach so if nothing else they will love just being in the water.

Any good gems of places?

Jungle Rumble mini golf (towards the east end of the beach) is really fun.

Head out to Rottingdean or Saltdean for less crowded beaches.

Or Shoreham (with body boards)...that's our favourite :)

Rottingdean has rock pools though which is cool, and Saltdean has the lido.

For something a bit different you could go to Hove Lagoon...it has those swan boats and a few fairground rides. They probably do taster sessions of water sports too.

Aquarium, but it is expensive. They may enjoy going on the Volks Railway to the mini-golf (the halfway station).

My top tips would be:
Paradox Place - great photo / optical illusion in the North Laine
the upside down house on the seafront
Brighton Museum… my kids love it!
Donatello’s for family friendly pizza
Have a look at VisitBrighton. Com for great tips!
