Is Etsy a scam?

Can anyone help please? I’ve never used Etsy before until placing an order last week. Confirmation email received followed by notification of dispatch however nothing has arrived.
Seller’s email address doesn’t work and Etsy process can’t help because I checked out as a guest. I seem to be stuck. Am I doing something wrong?

Did it say on the shipping details how long it would be?

I have never had an issue with Etsy, I buy a lot from there.

Etsy is brilliant. Please remember that it’s designed for handmade or bespoke things so sellers often take longer to dispatch. I’ve bought from Etsy for years and no it’s not a scam. Check out seller reviews just like you would on eBay or Amazon.

Never had a problem ever.

I received a lovely handmade collar and lead for our new puppy today from an Etsy seller, despatched yesterday.
I think they are great.

I suspect your package is held up in the post.

You don't need the app (I don't have it). You can track your order on the desktop site, but obviously you do need to be signed in.

It won’t let me sign in.
