Has anyone got a subscription to National Geographic kids mag?

If you have did you get a gift or a standard subscription?
The only difference I can see between both of these is one is on auto renew (which presumably you can cancel at the end of the year ) and one is a one off payment . Both types are for the same number of issues. I want to buy a sub as a gift and my instinct is to go for the cheaper option and just cancel with 2 weeks notice before the auto renew kicks in. I’ve filled in an online question but it says it could be 5 days before they reply and I need to get on with ordering. Can anyone help please?

They are easy to cancel if you set yourself a reminder, all you need to do is email them and let them know.

Thanks Pieman. That’s good to know. I really can’t see any difference between the to subs except on says it’s auto renew and the other isn’t yet one is more expensive. Right I’ll go order it.
