I’m sitting in my car. With the DC next to me. He’s having chips. I’m waiting to pick up the keys to my new house. I’ve been waiting since 10. We’re going a bit bonkers.
So please entertain me and tell me what you’re up to.

We are taking DH's bike to the shop to get some alterations done. He is resisting this, as he doesn't want to do the excercise that this will enable him to do. Then we are going to buy a replacement dash cam. Rock n roll.

Very exciting.
We’re still waiting. If DS says that he is oh so booooored once more, he’s going up for adoption.

I'm sat in bed watching virgin river on Netflix, I've eaten sooooo much shit and I really don't want to go to work at 2 😅

I’ve been to work this morning. Just home and having a speedy lunch/ tidy round before heading to an outdoor theatre performance with the kids, and then on for a swim and tea at their lovely friends’ house. I might even brave a dip!

I’m on my lunch break. Chilling on the sofa with the cat. Definitely one of the perks of WFH!

I've just had a fish finger sandwich for lunch and I'm now scrolling through mumsnet, enjoying the peace while toddler DD naps. Only 30 mins left!

Sitting beside a sleeping DGS, as he recovers from his first swimming session for nearly two years. Boneless relaxation and tiny snores. Out in the back yard, DD and DW are doing the same.

Just back home from a walk around a local park with the dc.
Was starving so just had two chocolate cupcakes DD made yesterday before I'd even took my shoes off.
Feeling greedy and waiting for the kettle to boil...

I was so bored that I dragged DS into a charity shop and totally scored! A beautiful set of murano glass vases is now MINE. Still waiting though.

Watching Olympics with the dog and pondering if I want to have a weeknight wine this evening. On the one hand: wine! On the other hand I’ll have to leave the house to go and get some which eh.

Have just got back from collecting DD from holiday club. She’s in her room, watching some
YouTube Kids nonsense, while I relax on the sofa with a cup of tea. Will start thinking about what to offer her for supper, knowing full well that she’ll only want sandwiches as usual.

Just had a hard boiled egg having got back from a 1.5 hour walk with my friend. Started cooking as having early dinner, I’m making chicken and vegetable fried rice wrapped in lettuce.

DH is away currently and DS at gym, have Olympics on kitchen tv and been messaging a friend to set up tonight’s gaming session. I am going to try and call one of my sisters once rice is cooked.

I was doing that. Now I have 8yo DD1 on the bed next to me, and for some reason 5yo Dd2 is under the bed watching YouTube on my iPad.

I really must start dinner. I don't want to. Ugh. I'm so over cooking.
