Business name help

[Laaaaa]

I am just about to start a community interest company which will be a supported house for recovering addicts.

I'm stuck for names. Some of the ones I'm thinking off.

Step to Change

Serenity house

Then I get stuck! I want something to feel positive and reflect change and growth. Any thoughts!

Lots of these are academy trusts or faith based institutions already

1. Is the name available on companies house
2. Is the domain name available

Just call it the name of the property
cherry place or Hanover lane

Step to Change is very close to StepChange, the debt management charity.

Serenity House is nice if it's not already used/got some other association!

Positive Start is already in use.
If the actual building and the company are going to have the same name, I'd be inclined to give it a less inspirational name, in favour of a more normal house name.

This is because the residents could be applying for work using the house address, and an ordinary name like Rose Cottage wouldn't stand out so much.

Yes agree, all of these sound like exactly what they are, supported housing for recovering addicts. Maybe people don't want to live somewhere that sounds like that, especially if they have to have it as their recorded address.

A name that doesn't highlight this as much like Holly Bank House or something similarly nice but neutral might be better...

I'm sorry, I think these kind of names are a little patronising.
I'd stick with Number X High Street or The Cottage, Long Lane or whatever.

I agree that they're a bit patronising. I'd have something nice but innocuous as suggested above.

Agree a name relating to a nearby feature - maybe a nature one - might be better eg

River Lodge
Park Place
